THE BULLPENSIONERS

It’s no secret, we can’t say no to an old dog. In general, senior dogs have much less of a chance of being adopted, and usually have more health issues than younger pups, which makes many rescues hesitant to accept them. There is an added challenge for large senior dogs.

At the Bullpen, all canines, no matter how advanced in age, are welcome! Please consider donating towards the care of one of our golden oldies!

HEARTWORM POSITIVE (HW+) DOGS

Although completely preventable, heartworm disease continues to be a major issue for dogs in the South. Despite the time and expense of treatment, the Bullpen has never turned away a HW+ dog in need. Please consider donating to offset cost of cares for our pack of HW+. pups.
